Hi!

I am Taylor Carol, 13 years old. Two years ago, I battled 2 orphan diseases. When I was first diagnosed they told me the treatment plan I was on had no survivors. Talk about feeling isolated… The kindness of a stranger saved my life. A man named Ralf Jungbluth in Germany donated his bone marrow to help put me into remission.

I love video games. My good friend Christian and I played many hours of Tony Hawk, and other games against each other while we were in the hospital and in the isolation unit. Video games were a total savior. I played games for fun, and to help me beat cancer. Last year, when I was able to go back to school I did a science project called "Put Down the Pills and Hand Me the Controller." It won Honorable Mention at the state science fair!

This picture is of Josh Sommer and me from just the other day. We are here to let you know we are real and we need your help.

The other picture is of Christian, me and his brother playing games together when we lived in the isolation unit at the Ronald Mc Donald House. Unfortunately, we lost my dear friend Christian just over a year ago.

When my dad told me about his idea for Donate Games, I was super psyched. If everyone who loves games comes together, we can really change things. Your donations can allow us to help the other people who desperately need a stranger’s help.
